The company "TurboCar s.r.o." was established in 1996 and at present it is the largest authorised technical assistance company for turbochargers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We are able to offer and repair all types of turbochargers for passenger, freight as well as rail vehicles. Another of our specialisations are turbochargers for stationary engines. Another one of our large successes is cooperation on the development of turbochargers with specialists from the technical centre of Honeywell Garrett Turbo Technologies in Brno. We currently cooperate also with Škoda auto, a.s., on adjustment of turbochargers for these cars.

Turbochargers
Turbocharger is a device used in internal combustion engines for enhancement of the total power output of the engine with the help of an increase in the quantity of air and fuel entering into the engine. The main advantage of the turbocharger is a significant increase in the engine capacity, connected with only a small enlargement of the weight. A disadvantage in the case of petrol engines is the necessity of reducing the compression ratio, which has an adverse impact on the engine efficiency at low speed. Diesel engines with turbochargers do not suffer of this inconvenience.
Servicing of turbochargers
Our company carries out servicing and sale of all types of turbochargers. For passenger cars and freight vehicles this concerns turbochargers of such brands as - Garrett, KKK, Holset, Schwitzer, IHI, Mitsubishi, ČZ. Furthermore we carry out servicing of large turbochargers – PBS turbo, ABB, KBB, Napier and Jenbacher.
Sale of turbochargers
We sell new original turbochargers as well as spare parts. We can offer also some turbochargers on an exchange basis (reconditioned). We keep an overwhelming majority of new turbochargers as well as spare parts in stock.
